· Can I travel with my children?
Of course! Travelling with your children is possible. The age of the child must be considered to meet the Australian requirements. If they are older than five years, they are obligated to attend a public or private school (both options have a cost) and if they are miners, there are childcares that can care for your children (they also have an extra cost).
· Can I travel with my partner?
Of course! Travelling with your partner is possible. The requirements are practically the same and the most important thing is that it must be a genuine relationship. When travelling to Australia on a couple’s visa, normally one has to study and the other person works, however the dependent can legally study for up to 3 months.
Together, both have the right to legally work and when the main applicant is on holidays, both can work full time.
· If I am on a student visa, how long can I be out of Australia for?
Your stay in Australia depends on the duration of the course you are studying. When a student has an approved Australian visa, they benefit from this as you can enter with this in other countries, however, you should check your holiday periods with your institution you will study with to avoid problems with your attendance.
· With my student visa, how many hours am I allowed to work in Australia?
International students in Australia with a valid student visa can work up to 20 hours per week while they are studying. There is no limit in the number of hours during recognized school holidays.
· What are the requirements for me to process my student visa to Australia with my children and/or partner?
You will need: Original passport and a copy for each member, evidence of marriage or living together of a minimum of 12 months, letter of motivation (GTE) for each member, Australian Health Insurance (for family group or couple) and birth certificate of the child/children.
· If I am a single mum or dad and I want to travel with my underage child, what requirements do I need for the student visa process?
The well-being of the minor must be guaranteed during the time they will spend in Australia. There must be legal evidence from both parents proving they give consent for them to leave the country. Adoption certificate or any legal custody document will be required. Both parents must fill out the 1229 form and provide a scanned copy of an official identification document that has their signatures such as a passport.

Yes, although you must show that you have genuine access to the funds. The relationship with their financial sponsor and their financial circumstances will be reviewed, and the students access to funds during Australia will be assessed.
